Welcome to Hope Zimbabwe       Thank you for visiting the Hope Zimbabwe web site       Please check out this video that provides you with more information about Hope Zimbabwe         Hope Zimbabwe came about in response to the massive need in Zimbabwe       A country that has been ravaged by....    Poverty & Hunger    This is a country with 80% unemployment, people can't afford food and health care,               and many of the shops are empty.    Disease    In 2008 Zimbabwe had a Cholera Epidemic which killed 4000 people out of more that 100,000              who had been infected (This was the worst Cholera outbreak in Africa for the last 15 years).   The United Nations has warned that in 2009/2010, a fresh outbreak could see              up to 125,000 people  affected, about 25% more people than in the last outbreak. Lack of Clean Water There is poor access to clean water, many areas still have sewage flowing. By people not having clean water, this also means that when the rainy season comes           another outbreak of Cholera is very possible.  The rainy season starts around the beginning of November. Yet, there is hope! You can make a difference by: Donating to Hope Zimbabwe Purchasing Products that support Hope Zimbabwe Signing up to receiving our updates   How will funds be used? Provide urgently needed medical supplies and medicines through “Celebration Health” in           Zimbabwe.
